Required Materials
1. The application form for permission for foreigners to work in China shall be filled out online and then printed out, signed by the applicant (photocopy or fax), and uploaded to the system with the official seal of the employer or the official seal of the authorized department of the employer. Original (1 electronic copy). Note: The official seal of the employer shall include the official name seal, as well as the official seal of the foreign affairs, personnel agency and labor contract business that has been registered in the authorization record of the system.
2. The visa (Type Z or Type R) or valid residence permit held by the applicant. Passport (or international travel document) visa page, entry stamp page or residence permit information page, original (1 electronic copy). Note: The passport shall be the same as the one presented when applying for the Notice of Foreigner's Work Permit, except in special cases such as loss.
3. The employment contract shall include the required information about the workplace, content, salary, working hours, position in China as well as the stamp page (signature) (1 electronic copy). Note: To be provided if not provided when applying for Notice of Foreigner's Work Permit.
4. The physical examination certificate shall be issued by the Chinese inspection and quarantine agency to verify the medical examination record or health examination certificate of the overseas personnel, all of which shall be issued within six months. Original (1 electronic copy). Note: To be provided if not provided when applying for Notice of Foreigner's Work Permit.
5. Other materials.
Material Standards
1. The original supplementary materials shall be uploaded to the processing system. All original paper documents and Chinese translations shall be uploaded electronically into the application system.
2. All original paper documents and the Chinese translations shall be accompanied by the color information attached to the original documents.
3. All supporting documents that are not in Chinese shall be translated into Chinese and affixed with the official seal of the employer (except for passport or international travel document).
4. For talents qualified in related talent program, no paper documents are required to be submitted for verification, and the whole procedure is processed online.

Required Materials

Notes:
1. Applicants shall fill in the part of the "Application Form for Foreigner's Work Permit in China" concerning the application for the foreigner's work permit.
2. If the original documents have not been submitted for verification, such documents shall be submitted for verification when applying for the Foreigner's Work Permit. For supporting documents based on the commitment system, paper materials are not required.
3. All original paper documents and the Chinese translations shall be accompanied by the color information attached to the original documents.
